John Gordon - PGA Head Teaching Professional
This year will be John's 19th year as Head Teaching Professional at Wayland Country Club. Lessons are offered from April through November, Monday through Sunday, by appointment. Spring and fall lessons are easiest to accommodate, on the range, and on course. Summer lessons are available as well, though the summer junior sessions bring some time limitations.
John's philosophy is to encourage a logical, athletic swing that works with the player's strengths, changes as little as need be, and works toward successful repetition. At the very least, the student will learn what made the ball fly as it did, and what changes are required to affect ball flight. Balance issues are always addressed, and often, the two primary sources of power, rotation and leverage.
